Wow, in three months of existence, this site has had 20,000 hits. Thank you everyone who visits, you make this project worth its effort. In other news, I'll be leaving for Europe on the 4th, and will be visiting Germany, France, Amsterdam, and Italy for two weeks. I should be back home on the 17th, so behave while I'm away. I don't want to come back to find you had any parties in my absence. It's just plain rude. And messy. =o) Anywho, better get working on the latest version of STF before I leave!

The Floating Fortress is, in a sense, a flying aircraft carrier. And what it carries are four AV-8B Harrier II's, which Jstek was kind enough to take on the task of modeling them. Check out his awesome work here.

One year ago, Starcraft Team Fortress first started taking shape. It's interesting to look back on that day, and see how far it's come since then. And indeed it has come a long way, from its initial concept to one of the most popular conversions for Starcraft. Of course, I owe it all to you, the fans. Thank you for your support in this great endeavor. This day also serves as a wakeup call; one year has passed, and STF is still not yet out to the public. Well, I aim to make amends, and speed up production as fast as humanly possible. Summer vacation should help to stoke that furnace in all the right ways. And to cram more motivation into that, I'm going to make a promise to you all. It's something any seasoned creator would warn against, but I promise to begin open Beta testing no later than the end of July. That's right, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. When July 31st rolls around, closed Beta testing will be at an end, and you will all have the opportunity to experience STF for yourselves.

Whelp, I'm finally back from Europe! Quite an interesting trip. I'd explain more about it on the forums, but, heh, they seem to be down. I've contacted Recon, but since it's Friday night, and they go home at like 6pm and don't come back until Monday, it looks like the forums will remain down over the weekend. Sorry. Now, as for STF, even on my vacation, I couldn't help but come up with a plethora of new ideas. In fact, I've come up with yet another two brand new units. More will be known later on. As for right now, I need to sleep. Eighteen hours on a plane and going back 9 hours kinda takes it out of you, ya know? =o)

Whelp, why don't I just go ahead and tell you all anyways? Awhile back, I said STF was getting a new race, and I was not joking, nor referring to the Hybrids. Nope, this new race is called the Observers. If you'll notice on your left, there's a link to their page. It's only a brief overview, but should give you a much better idea of what they're about. Also, the Hybrid page actually has some content. Only another brief overview, but it says more than it did a day ago. =o) Enjoy!

Updated the Downloads page with some additional maps, these ones by DarkOMEN. While he's not a Beta Tester of any sort, he made these maps for STF nonetheless. I have to hand it to him, he's quite the dedicated one. So, thank you DarkOMEN, your maps have helped fill the void that is the map section. =o)

Yay! The forum is finally back up. Turns out the problem was Recon changed their IP address, so all I had to do was update the forum's config file. Everything works perfectly now, so hurry on back into the forum. We've got some catching up to do! =oD

Also, if you ever come to this site and it seems to have been a long while since the last update, be sure to clear out your Internet cache. As is often the case, your computer isn't updating its cache automatically. A few people have had this happen to them, so always keep that in mind if you suspect something's wrong.

Guess what? STF has a brand new musician on the team! His alias is Shojin, and his music is pure magic. For the most part, his pieces will be accompanying the mysterious Observer race. Be sure to listen to one of his awesome pieces, Saturn. Also, take a look at his kick-ass website, Shojin.com.

Oh, man, just looking through the Units page makes me shudder. It's so dated it's not even funny. So, I've taken the liberty of updating it with much more up-to-date information, as well as added in the new units, such as the Mortar Team and APC. Be sure to have a look for yourself.

Amazing. Jstek has finished the in-game Harrier model. He still has a lot more work to do on the cinematic version of it, but it looks like STF will finally have its first in-game unit graphic change. Whoo-hoo! =o) You can take a look at it here.

Finally, another Battle Report! Arcan has finally bolstered his count, so be sure to give it a read! Lots of screenshots. Also, I'll most likely be gone this weekend, so behave yourselves on the forums. There are moderators now. =o)

Ever wonder what Justin Skormarovsky does? He's been on the staff list for the longest time, yet you haven't heard any of his work. Well, for the first time in over a year, you can hear his work for yourself in the form of The Rock.

The Downloads page is finally finished! Granted, there will still be plenty of content added, and a few features I have planned in addition, but overall, the Downloads page is officially operational. I have also uploaded three new maps by DarkOMEN. And, to make matters even better, there are two new Shojin pieces to listen to! Terramorphing and The Grafter, both complementing the malevolent Observers. Check 'em out, they're well worth the download time.
